We've all known someone who just grates our nerves because of how unbelievably proud and selfish they are. We've also, if we're really honest with ourselves, been that person from time to time. Pride and selfishness sneak into our days subtly and can come in under the disguise of entitlement and self confidence. The problem, we will learn in this Sunday's teaching by Jason Renault, is that pride and selfishness always cost us something.
As we prepare for this Sunday's teaching I challenge all of us to take some time to ask God when, recently, we've crossed the line into pride and selfishness and to show us the next time we're headed down that path so that we can stop ourselves short.
