We've spent the last three weeks talking about taking responsibility.  My prayer has been through this series that God would not only show me where I need to step it up, but that He would help give me the discernment to know the next step as well as the courage to take it.  I have prayed this for all of us.

We don't live long in this world before we attach and have attached to us labels of all shapes and sizes.

Smart, tender-hearted, talented, forgetful, witty, strong, fearful, determined, competitive, victim, kind, generous, wise, failure, hypocrite... you get the idea.  Our labels can shape how others see us, they can shape how we see ourselves.  (read more...)

While Sara and her band are here December 18th and 19th, we will need several volunteers to help with things from local runner to meals to merchandise sales.

Last week we saw from the story of Saul what not to do when we find ourselves faced with broken dreams.  He took it upon himself to do whatever it took to try to force his dream to be a reality.  In the end, for him, it wound up costing many their lives and costing him his life as well...

This weekend is time change weekend.  So, remember to set your clock back an hour before you go to bed on Saturday night.

I have heard a lot of conversation being generated about the current series we are in, The Forgotten Path.  It seems to be stirring up some things for folks.

When it comes to planning weekend series and services, the natural question then becomes, where do we go from here?
