Yea to Dan and Steve who both took the challenge last week to answer the questions about the story of Joseph!
Last week I challenged you all in hopes that you'd read for yourselves the story of Joseph. Dan and Steve did and answered my questions correctly, sort of.
I threw in a trick question that tripped them both up. Here was the challenge:
1. What does the image at the top of this week's preparing our hearts represent? And what verse in the scripture passage is it talked about?
2. Who was it that kept the brothers from killing Joseph and suggested instead that they sell him? Verse this is talked about?
3. Finally, what Bible reader software does our blog suggest is very helpful in personal Bible study and what date was that blog entry?
Both Dan and Steve answered questions 1 and 3 correctly, but question two was a little tricky. While Reuben was the brother who was first to speak against killing Joseph, I asked who wanted to avoid killing him by selling him. That was Judah in Genesis 37:26.
But since they both did such a great job playing along I'll have two Starbucks cards in my office Sunday morning for the guys to claim! Keep your eyes on our blog, you never know what might come up next.
