Last week we saw from the story of Saul what not to do when we find ourselves faced with broken dreams.  He took it upon himself to do whatever it took to try to force his dream to be a reality.  In the end, for him, it wound up costing many their lives and costing him his life as well...



This week, we're going to look at the flip side of the coin.  Through the life of David, we'll look at how we can walk through times of broken dreams and handle it in such a way that it honors God, those around us and our own lives.

As you prepare to lead worship this weekend, my challenge for all of us is to spend a little time reading in Psalms.  David penned many of the Psalms and he experienced a few broken dreams in his life.  You can read his reactions and feelings during those times in the Psalms.
