Last week we talked about how when you are trying to keep anything in balance you have to have a reference point - that is you have to always be watching a specific point. This week as we continue in our series Balanced, we're going to take a look at the next principle of balance which is that you always have to know what your objective is.
Think about it, in your finances, what is your objective? Really, what is your objective based on how you use your money currently, not what you would like your objective to be.
Is it to save as much as you can? Is your objective to make life for your family really comfortable? Is it to spend as much as you can?
This week as you prepare for Sunday, take some time out and ask yourself that question: What am I trying to accomplish with my money?
Then I challenge you to have an honest conversation with God about it. What is His plan for your money? Is it the same as your? Why or why not?
