We live in a world today where "more" is the standard. More of something will surely be better.
But, often, that's not the case. In many situations, less truly is more. And one of those situations is sharing your faith with someone else.
If I am really honest, sharing my faith is something that does not come naturally to me. It can make my palms sweat, my mouth dry and can make me ramble on nervously. I think a lot of us can say the same.
It is the rambling that can get us in a lot of trouble though. People can get hung up on issues of theology and justice and hypocrisy and entirely miss the main point.
What do people really need to know? God loves us. He loves us so much that He wouldn't settle for eternity without us so He did something about it by sending His Son to make a way for us to be with Him forever.
What do we need to do about what we know? All we have to do is accept that this is not something we can do for ourselves and accept His gift of providing this way for us.
It's not complicated. Less is more. Don't muddy the water.
