We are all servers at Cypress but we are also "consumers". Our kids are a part of Kids Connection, or High Tide. We are members of small groups. We are greeted by the connections team or brought meals when we're sick by the pastoral care team.
What has someone at Cypress done for you in the past year that was meaningful to you? How were you served?

My children are a part of Treehouse and one evening while we were at dinner my son recited a scripture verse out of the blue! It turns out, it was his "remember verse" from his class. How cool is it that the volunteers there spend time during the week preparing so that they can help me teach my children the Bible!
I was going through a particularly tough time and not a lot of people knew about it. But, my small group leader, Kay Evenwel, could tell something wasn't right with me so she called me and emailed me to follow up and not only encourage me but also see if there were any ways she could do things to help my situation. That meant so much to me.
